Harabel invites the founders and directors of the Prishtina Film Festival, to present on the evening of July 26, 2018 the winning films of 2 of the programs of this festival “Sun” and “Éclair”. PriFest is one of the most important film festivals in Kosovo, the event will take place at Reja.
Besides the traditional film programs over the years, PriFest, has brought new innovations in its 10th anniversary with two new programs, among which is the competing program of student films . Part of this program is a student project , a 12-minute movie named “Sun” (Kosovo / Italy) directed by Mjellma Istrefi, this film was selected as the winner of this category in the festival..
It highligts the relationship between leaders (teacher- Shkumbin Istrefi) and followers (students). This relationship is shifted from inside the classroom to the outside, from lessons to practice, from general to something more concrete. Precisely during these transformations along comes the surprise and disappointment.
Light is the essence, it stands as a necessity of the future and its absence – the consequence of certain indicators that are inspired by man. Man seeks progress, yet man tries to stop it. Good intentions and forethoughts forever clashing with the ill norrow thoughts.
Key insights through the sun (burning ), the city (survivor), the clouds (protection) by the teacher, encounter the controversy of the curious student outlook (Trina Ukmata), which sees in the sun for much more than the burning light, sees the clouds but not the protection, she sees the next storm.
Can human beings survive in a society where the true leader is not yet born, where evil strives to fight the truth? The new director, Mjellma Istrefi, prefers a ” to be continued ” ending for this film.
The medium-length films program is another subdivision of the festival, which according to one of Prifest founders and directors, Fatos Berisha, includes films of a special production that do not find much space on other festivals. One of them is the 30-minute film entitled “Éclair” by director Marko Djokovik (Macedonia, 2016), who also received the first prize in this category.
Reflected in this film are the relationships between generations and different strata at the time when some Balkan states were part of the so-called Yugoslavia. An important visit of the highest political personality is what drives everything in the movie. Even more important is his absence. Throughout the movie you can feel the preparations at the welcoming villa.
All the welcoming preparations are a strange and unacceptable show not only for the viewer, but also for the childish characters in the film. It is precisely this age-group that symbolically routs, crushes the oppressive authority of one class to another , in the last act in the film.
Certain fragments, exhibit objections to the above mentioned ascendancy, but they are not decisive. That is why the film invokes psycho-social analysis: why the younger generation, who itsef has experienced less oppression and perhaps born under its pressure, is the one who opposes the subordination with such strength?
At the opening of the event is Vjosa Berisha, founder and director of PriFest, which presents the films for the participants. At closing of the event, the founder and other leader, Fatos Berisha, focused mostly on the difficulties and achievements of PriFest so far.

Platforma Harabel fton në Tiranë themeluesit dhe drejtuesit e festivalit të filmit në Prishtinë, PriFest, një ndër festivalet më të rëndësishme të filmit në Kosovë, për të paraqitur në mbrëmjen e 26 korrikut 2018 në mjedisin Reja filmat fitues të 2 prej programeve të këtij festivali: “Dielli” dhe “Éclair”.
PriFest-i, përpos programeve tradicionale filmike përgjatë viteve, ka sjellë risi në dhjetëvjetorin e vet dy programe të reja, ndër të cilat përmendet programi garues i filmave studentorë. Pjesë e këtij programi është projekti studentor filmik 12-minutësh emërtuar “Dielli” (Kosovë/Itali) me regji nga Mjellma Istrefi, film i cili u përzgjodh fitues brenda kësaj ndarjeje të festivalit.
Në qendër vendoset marrëdhënia mes udhëheqësit (mësimdhënësit – Shkumbin Istrefi) dhe ndjekësve (nxënësve). Kjo marrëdhënie zhvendoset nga mjedisi i brendshëm në atë të jashtëm, nga teoria te praktika, nga e përgjithshme te konkretja. Pikërisht gjatë këtyre shndërrimeve vjen befasia dhe zhgënjimi.
Në thelb të gjithçkaje qëndron drita si një domosdoshmëri ardhmërie dhe mungesa e saj – pasojë e treguesve të caktuar të cilët frymohen prej vetë njeriut. Njeriu kërkon përparimin dhe po njeriu përpiqet ta ndalë atë. Qëllimet e larta dhe largpamësia luftojnë përherazi me qëndrimet e ulëta dhe të ngushta.
Shenjëzimet kyçe nëpërmjet diellit (djegës), qytetit (të mbijetuar), reve (mbrojtëse) nga ana e mësimdhënësit hasin në kundërshtinë e botëkuptimit të nxënëses kureshtare (Trina Ukmata) e cila sheh te dielli më shumë se djegien ndriçimin, sheh te retë jo mbrojtjen, por rrebeshin e ardhshëm.
A mund ta ketë të lehtë mbijetesën qenia njerëzore brenda një shoqërie ku udhëheqësi i vërtetë nuk është lindur ende, ku e keqja përpiqet ta luftojë të vërtetën? Regjisorja e re Mjellma Istrefi parapëlqen ta lërë në këtë përfundim të hapur filmin.
Programi i filmave të metrazhit të mesëm është një tjetër nënndarje e festivalit, e cila, sipas njërit prej themeluesve dhe drejtuesve të PriFest-it, Fatos Berishës, përfshin filma të një prodhimi të veçantë të cilët nuk gjejnë shumë hapësirë në të tjera festivale. Një ndër ta është filmi 30-minutësh emërtuar “Éclair” nga regjisori Marko Gjokovik (Maqedoni, 2016), i cili mori edhe çmimin e parë në këtë kategori.
Marrëdhënie midis brezash dhe shtresash në kohën kur disa shtete ballkanike ishin pjesë e së ashtuquajturës Jugosllavi pasqyrohen në këtë film. Një vizitë e rëndësishme e personalitetit më të lartë politik është ajo që vë në lëvizje gjithçka në film. Edhe më e rëndësishme është mosardhja e tij. Përgjatë gjithë kohës filmike ndihen përgatitjet në vilën mikpritëse.
E gjithë përgatitja mikpritëse është një shfaqje e çuditshme dhe e papranueshme jo vetëm për shikuesin, por edhe për personazhet fëminore në film. Është pikërisht kjo grupmoshë e cila dërrmon simbolikisht me aktin e fundit në film autoritetin shtypës të një klase ndaj një tjetre.
Grimca të caktuara shfaqin kundërshtime ndaj pushtetit në fjalë mëhershëm, porse ato nuk janë vendimtare. Kjo është arsyeja se pse filmi fton në analiza psiko-sociale: se pse brezi i ri, ai i cili ka përjetuar më pak shtypjen dhe ndoshta ka lindur nën peshën e saj, është ai i cili e kundërshton më fort nënshtrimin.
Në hapje të veprimtarisë është Vjosa Berisha, themeluese dhe drejtuese e PriFest-it ajo e cila paraqet filmat për të pranishmit. Në përmbyllje të tij themeluesi dhe drejtuesi tjetër, Fatos Berisha, u përqendrua më së shumti në vështirësitë dhe arritjet e deritanishme të PriFest-it.
