Exhibition / Parallel 42 – A Circle of Humanity / COD / November 11 – December 31, 2021 / Tirana
The Center for Openness and Dialogue presented Parallel 42 – A Circle of Humanity, an exhibition that brought together Albanian and international visual artists, sponsored by the Imago Mundi Foundation and curated by Elton Koritari and Albes Fusha. The exhibited works belong to 3200 artists and were made on canvas, 10×12 cm. The exhibition remained open from November 11 to December 31, 2021.
The works exhibited in Parallel 42 – A Circle of Humanity come from artists of different cultures and techniques of contemporary art and (those with traditional roots) not only, and they were presented according to the respective countries, divided into sections that were created specifically for each of them. All artists will be promoted internationally through these dedicated catalogs, by the moving exhibition, which will travel to several countries of the world. The collection by Imago Mundi invites countries into the community through art which aims to break down the walls that were previously erected by the global pandemic and unite them through parallel 42.
The COD space exhibits 15 sections that carry works of artists from different countries such as: North Korea; Spain; Portugal; Canada; Mongolia; Japan; France; China; United States; Russia; Ukraine; Moldova; Armenia; Uzbekistani; Georgia; Bulgaria; Turkey; Italy and Albania.
At the entrance of COD the exhibited works started with North Korea, which presented 210 works in its section, made in different techniques such as: embroidery, calligraphy, colored inks and cultivated perspectives; Spain exhibited over 200 works from the contemporary collection developed with a new asset of styles, inspiration and artistic trends; Portugal brought works that were created by more than 200 young artists and masters of color; Mongolia introduced a new collection with 210 previously unexposed paintings. The works were created by young artists who incorporate conceptual art and new media into their work, with the common goal of fighting and understanding what the future holds; Canada presented a collection of 210 works which deal with the natural landscape and are dedicated to contemporary Canadian art; Japan came with a range of works created by 207 renowned young artists representing a feature of Japanese culture by treating them in contemporary techniques. Calligraphy is also a part of these works, a tradition which in the East involved in their artistic practice; France presented 210 works in contemporary technique.
In the small space on the right, the exhibition followed with the sections of the representative works from: China, which through its catalog presented 200 paintings made by young and affirmed artists of contemporary art; The United States exhibited in its section 270 works created in the name of the diversity of expression for the community of individual identities that this exhibition represents; Looking Eastward included: Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Armenia and Uzbekistan, countries that came together to bring a diverse artistic creativity, thus crossing political boundaries to become part of a wider, figurative culture.
The corridor on the left continued with Georgia, which was represented by 140 works created by artists, illustrators, video artists and filmmakers. The works were realized in different media such as: abstract paintings, sculptures, collages. While Turkey exhibited in its section 227 works that combine culture and modernization, where 20 of them were created by crude artists, who belong to a large ethnic group in the country; Bulgaria presented a collection of more than 140 works created by artists of different generations who were divided between classical and contemporary; The Italian mosaic consists of 210 artists who belong to different profiles, such as: painters, architects, designers, photographers, publicists, musicians and actors. Their works are brought together by Luca Beatrice displaying a moral, social and artistic vision through them. The exhibition concluded with Albania, with 163 artists, which presented a collection through realism, interpretation and metaphor, combined with a visual language to create a new artistic community, to later become part of the collections of international contemporary art.

Qendra për Hapje dhe Dialog çel ekspozitën e radhës me tillull Parallel 42 – A Circle of Humanity ku bën bashkë në këtë projekt artistë shqiptarë dhe ndërkombëtarë të artit pamor, të mundësuar nga Fondacioni Imago Mundi dhe e kuruar nga Elton Koritari dhe Albes Fusha. Veprat e ekspozuara i përkasin 3200 artistëve dhe janë të punuara në kanavacë me përmasa 10×12 cm. Ekspozita qëndroi e hapur përgjatë datave 11 nëntor – 31 dhjetor 2021.
Veprat e krijuara në ekspozitën Parallel 42 – A Circle of Humanity vijnë nga artistë të kulturave dhe teknika të ndryshme të artit bashkëkohor dhe (atyre me rrënjë tradicionale) jo vetëm, duke u paraqitur sipas shteteve përkatëse të ndara në këndet e krijuara për secilin prej tyre. Të gjithë artistët do të promovohen ndërkombëtarisht me anë të këtyre katalogëve të dedikuar përmes ekspozitës lëvizëse e cila do të udhëtojë në disa vende të botës. Koleksioni nga Imago Mundi i fton shtetet në bashkësi përmes artit i cili synon ti thyejë muret e ngritur më parë prej pandemisë globale dhe ti bashkojë ato përmes paralelit 42.
Hapësira e COD ekspozon 15 kënde që mbartin vepra që i përkasin artistëve të vendeve të ndryshme si: Korea e Veriut; Spanja; Portugalia; Kanadaja; Mongolia; Japonia; Franca; Kina; Shtetet e Bashkuara të Amerikës; Rusia; Ukrahina; Moldavia; Armenia; Uzbekistani; Gjeorgjia; Bullgaria; Turqia; Italia dhe Shqipëria.
Në hyrje të COD janë vendosur veprat e artistëve nga: Koreja e Veriut e cila paraqet në këndin e saj 210 vepra të realizuara në teksnika të ndryshme duke përdorur kështu në to: qëndisje, kaligrafi, bojra shkrimi me ngjyra dhe perspektiva të kultivuara; Spanja ekspozon mbi 200 vepra të koleksionit bashkëkohorë të zhvilluara me një pasuri të re stilesh, frymëzimesh dhe prirjesh artistike; Portugalia sjell veprat të cilat janë të krijuara nga më shumë se 200 artistë të rinj dhe nga mjeshtër të ngjyrave; Mongolia paraqet një koleksion të ri me 210 piktura te pa ekspozuara më parë. Veprat janë krijuar nga artisë të rinj të cilët përfshijnë në punët e tyre artin konceptual dhe mediave të reja, me një synim të përbashkët për të luftuar dhe për të kuptuar atë që të sjell e ardhmja; Kanadaja në këndin e saj përfaqësohet një koleksion prej 210 veprash të cilat trajtojnë peizazhin natyror dhe i kushtohen artit bashkëkohor kanadez; Japonia vjen me një sërë veprash të krijuar nga 207 artistë të njohur dhe të rinj që përfaqësojnë një veçori të kulturës japoneze duke i trajtuar ato në teknika bashkëkohore. Gjithashtu pjesë e tyre bëhen dhe kaligrafitë, traditë e cila në Lindje është pjesë e praktikës së tyre artistike; Franca paraqet 210 vepra të realizuara në tablotë e përmasave 10×12 nëpërmjet trajtesës bashkëkohore.
Në hapësirën e vogël në të djathtë vijojnë këndët e realizuara për veprat përfaqësuese nga: Kina e cila pwrmes katalogut të saj paraqet 200 piktura të realizuara nga artistë të rinj dhe të afirmuar të artit bashkëkohor; Shtetet e Bashkuara në këndin e tyre ekspozojnë 270 vepra të krijuara në emër të larmisë së shprehjes për bashkësinë e identiteteve individuale qe përfaqëson kjo ekspozitë; Looking Eastward përfshin: Rusinë, Ukrahinën, Moldavinë, Armeninë dhe Uzbekistanin, shtete të cilat bëhën bashkë për të sjellë një krijimtari të larmishme artistike duke tejkaluar kështu kufinjt politik për tu bërë pjesë e një kulture më të gjerë, asaj figurative.
Korridori i majtë vijon me Gjeorgjinë e cila përfaqësohet përmes 140 veprave të krijuara prej artistëve, ilustruesve, video artistëve dhe kineastëve. Veprat janë të realizuara në mediume të ndryshme si: piktura abstrakte, skulptura, kolazh; Ndërsa Turqia mban të ekspozuara në këndin e saj 227 vepra të cilat ndërthurin kulturën dhe modernizimin ku 20 prej tyre janë krijuar nga artistë krudë, të cilët i përkasin një grupi të madh etnik në vend; Bullgaria paraqet një koleksion prej më shumë së 140 veprave të realizuara nga artistë të brezave të ndryshëm të cilët ndahën midis klasikes dhe bashkëkohores; Mozaiku i Italisë vjen i krijuar nga 210 artistë të cilët i përkasin profileve të ndryshme si: piktor, arkitekt, dizajner, fotografë, publiciste, muzikantë dhe aktorë. Veprat e tyre bëhen bashkë të përgatitura nga Luca Beatrice duke shfaqur një vizion moral, social dhe artistik nëpërmjet tyre; Ekspozita përmbyllet me Shqipërinë e cila përmes 163 artistëve shfaq një koleksion nëpërmjet realizmit, interpretimit dhe metaforës dhe ku përmes gjuhës vizuale krijojnë një bashkësi të re artistike për tu bërë me pas pjesë e koleksioneve të artit bashkëkohor internacional.
